This Charity Honors WWII Heroes

Our newest Approved Vendor, The Greatest GENERATIONS Foundation (TGGF) is a nonprofit that works to ensure that veterans’ legacies are honored and remembered by sponsoring their return to former battlegrounds and memorials. Their stories and legacies are recorded and retold to future generations to understand the price of freedom. This also allows those veterans to work through any remaining trauma and find closure. The foundation is continuing to grow its more than 450,000+ active veterans and 60 chapters and has recently expanded to Florida, reaching one of the largest veterans’ populations in the country. By expanding, it will be able to continue taking thousands of veterans to more than 40 conflict areas to pay reverence as it has done the past two decades. For more information on TGGF, visit https://www.ourseniors.net/nonprofit/colorado/denver/non-profit/greatest-generations-foundation/ or call 561-468-3738....

God’s effortless change and what that means for you

They don’t know how to go from where they are to where they need to be. Instead, they spend a lot of time praying, fasting, and begging God for change. They’re waiting on Him to do something. That’s not the way the Scriptures teach us to change. God has a system of change, and unlike the world’s system, it’s supposed to be effortless. People hear...

Looking Forward to the ‘Post Pandemic’ World

The COVID-19 pandemic is just over a year old, and all of us are tired of the restrictions, the inconveniences, the grief and hardships brought on by this virus. This is not an abstraction; it has meant Christmas without family, weddings and birthdays not celebrated, travel postponed and friends who may never be seen again. Like yours, the OurSeniors.net family has been affected—we have made sacrifices and curtailed some activities like the popular Brunch and Learn programs we have sponsored for years. Take this opportunity to check out our next virtual program (March 26, 11 AM) by clicking on Talking Books for Persons with Disabilities. It is too soon to say that the pandemic is ending, but there are hopeful signs. America’s vaccine program is gathering speed, and this is especially important for seniors, the group most at risk from Covid-19 infection. If you have any doubt about taking this vaccine, please read our past article, “What You Should Know about...
