Twyla Sketchley holds the distinction of being a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney. Licensed to practice law in both Montana and Florida, she established The Sketchley Law Firm, P.A. in Tallahassee in 2002. Ms. Sketchley’s legal practice is centered around elder law, guardianship, fiduciary representation, and litigation related to elder law. She has served as the Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and as the President of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA). In 2016, she launched The Sketchley Method, recognized as the nation’s leading resource on the prevention of maltreatment of elders and people with disabilities.
