Graduating with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in 1992, David W. Brill has been a member in good standing with the Florida Bar since then. He is admitted to practice in various federal courts, all of which he is also a member in good standing, including the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court of Florida (Southern, Northern, and Middle Districts), with the latest admission on December 12, 2006.
Currently serving as the managing attorney of BRILL & RINALDI, The Law Firm, David initiated his legal career in the Office of the State Attorney in and for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami. Initially, he served as a Certified Legal Intern and later spent over three years as an Assistant State Attorney.
David has been fortunate to present arguments on admiralty/maritime matters before both the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Additionally, he has argued land-based negligence appeals before Florida’s Third District Court of Appeals and Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeals. David has also authored several briefs seeking Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court.
