Emma Hemness is the founder of the Law Office of Emma Hemness P.A., operating as Hemness Faller Elder Law. Since 2004, she has been a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney. Additionally, Ms. Hemness holds the title of Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, a recognition achieved in 2005. Her accreditation by the Veterans Administration dates back to 2008.

Beyond her professional certifications, Emma has actively contributed to the legal community, serving as the Past Chair of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section and Past President of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. She has also served on the Board of the Area Agency on Aging, Senior Connection Center, and previously as a Board Member of the Florida Gulf Coast Alzheimer’s Association. Recognizing her exceptional legal skills, SuperLawyer Magazine listed Ms. Hemness in its prestigious rankings, including the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Florida, Top 100 Attorneys in Florida, and Top 50 Tampa Bay Attorneys in 2017.
