Kara Evans, a sole practitioner with offices in Tampa, Lutz, and Spring Hill, is Board Certified in Elder Law in Florida. She specializes in Elder Law, Wills, Trusts, and Estates. Ms. Evans is a member of the New York Bar Association and the Florida Bar, including its Elder Law, Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law sections. Currently serving as the co-chair of the Probate Committee of the Elder Law section, she is also a member of the Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Evans is a frequent lecturer for NBI and the Florida Bar at Continuing Legal Education Seminars.
She earned her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Florida in 1980, her J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1983, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Long Island University in 1995. Having lived in Central America and the Caribbean, she acted as a tax consultant to Americans residing overseas.
