Originally hailing from St. Louis, Jill Burzynski earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University Law School. In 2003, she served as the President of the Collier County Bar Association. Recognized for her outstanding contributions, she received the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award in 1998, an honor presented at the Florida Supreme Court. Additionally, she was named Woman Lawyer of the Year for Collier County in 1998 and played a pivotal role as the founder and initial President of the Legal Aid of Collier County. As a distinguished member of the legal community, she is affiliated with the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and has served as the Past President of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association. Currently, she holds the position of Immediate Past President at the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. Actively engaged in advocacy, she serves on the Florida Joint Public Policy Task Force for the Elderly and Disabled. Her excellence in Elder Law earned her the designation of Super Lawyer in Elder Law from 2017 to 2019.
