Joan Nelson Hook, the senior attorney at the Hook Law Group, established her law office (formerly Joan Nelson Hook, P.A.) in 1993, and swiftly devoted herself to the practice of Elder Law. In 1999, Joan achieved Board Certification in Elder Law from the Florida Bar Association. She has actively engaged with the community to raise awareness of elder law issues and has advocated for the rights of developmentally disabled adults to secure their rightful legal protections. Joan has been an advocate for elderly citizens, contributing to legislative efforts aimed at safeguarding them from exploitation and abuse while preserving their dignity and independence.
