• Counseling Services: To deal with issues like depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and military sexual trauma (MST) that relate to mental health; individual, group, family and marriage counseling is available in the vet centers. They enable individuals change positively and get better.
• Readjustment Counseling: This includes coping strategies for reintegration into civilian life, overcoming traumatic experiences from the military, as well as changes in family or social relations.
• Bereavement Counseling: In this regard, veterans’ counselors are engaged to help them through the grief period after losing a dear one due to a military action.
