Cristina Alonso has been Board Certified in Appellate Practice by The Florida Bar since 2010 and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.
Ms. Alonso specializes in handling appeals in both state and federal courts. With a track record encompassing over 100 appellate matters, she has navigated cases before esteemed tribunals such as the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Florida Supreme Court, and various district courts of appeal in Florida, among others.
Beyond her appellate practice, Ms. Alonso plays a crucial role in trial teams and has served as counsel in over 25 trials. Her responsibilities extend to developing innovative strategies for emerging theories of liability, representing both individuals and corporations in high-stakes litigation, overseeing national and state-wide litigation to ensure efficiency, and providing valuable appellate consulting services to fellow counsel. Her extensive experience spans diverse practice areas, including constitutional and civil rights, business litigation, mass tort litigation, health care, and products liability.
