OurSeniors Radio welcomes guest speaker Stephanie Biscay, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and host Julian G. Cantillo.
MetroHealth of Central Florida is a network of primary care doctors and health professionals that caters specifically to seniors in Orange and Volusia County who are insured through Medicare. The organization follows a model reminiscent of the past, where primary care physicians collaborate with specialists to provide comprehensive medical care to patients.
STEPHANIE BISCAY, DNP, APRN, FNP-C she is just one of many providers. Stephanie Biscay is a Florida native who grew up in Ormond Beach and graduated from Seabreeze High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the University of South Carolina in Aiken, SC in 2015. Earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Florida in 2023, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and working as a nurse with complex patients prepared her to manage and care for patients with acute and chronic conditions. Her goal is to assist each patient with a better quality of life while improving health outcomes.
