About COA In-Home Services

The Council on Aging of Volusia County, Inc. (COA) stands as the sole local non-profit organization dedicated solely to assisting the senior population of Volusia County, which happens to be the fastest-growing age demographic in our region. COA relies on support from federal, state, and local governmental agencies to furnish subsidized services to the elderly, disabled, and underprivileged residents of Volusia County. Both federal and state entities mandate that COA secure matching funds from local sources, which includes contributions from the general public.

COA manages multiple congregate dining facilities across Volusia County, along with senior centers situated in Deltona, Orange City, Ormond Beach, and New Smyrna Beach. Their commitment remains steadfast in delivering quality services tailored to meet the needs of senior citizens and their families, achieved through active partnerships between public and private sectors. They offer no-cost and low-cost services for eligible individuals, alongside private pay options.
