Brunch and Learn

Can you believe it, it is almost time for another of our famous Brunch and Learns on February 21! Our upcoming speaker is the one and only Kathy Searle Acevedo from the Florida Bureau of Braille and Talking Book Library. Ms. Acevedo is an advocate for people with visual, physical, and reading disabilities. Listen to her talk about the Florida Bureau of Braille and Talking Books Library, which is the most extensive library of its kind, with a collection of over 2.4 million items in Braille and audio format. If you are a Florida resident who is unable to use standard print due to a visual, physical, or reading disability or know someone who is, join us. What an incredible topic and resource for our community! Books are a great way to gain knowledge and to escape into a new world. This Brunch and Learn will take place at the Golden Corral on 225 Cypress Edge Dr., Palm Coast, FL 32164. Learn with us from 10 a.m. to noon and enjoy a special menu that will be available starting at $3.99. We hope to see you there!
