Can you believe that it’s already March?

We want to wish our beloved Joan a very Happy 90th Birthday today. Yes it is now official Joan and Doug are now both 90 years young. Our words cannot express how much we love our beloved young couple. Thank you for supporting us since day one. We love you and yes wish you very many more to come!

March is here!

Can you believe that it’s already March? It seems like 2024 just started yet we’re already almost in spring. With spring in Florida, comes a variety of things to do, events to participate in, campaigns to support, and places to visit. As you prepare for the upcoming season, you should also know what the month of March represents. From National Disabilities Month to Kidney month, there are multiple health and wellness awareness events that might just give you more insight into some of the most important health focuses of the month.

March Is a Month of Multiple National Health Observances

You might associate March with the onset of spring but it represents so much more. March is an important month for raising awareness and it’s known as;

  • National Nutrition Month
  • National Women’s History Month
  • National Kidney Month
  • March for Meals (a national program and campaign specifically for seniors)
  • National Cognitive Rehabilitation Awareness Month
  • National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Each of these initiatives seeks to improve the well-being of those affected by it and to spread awareness to the public so it’s important to find ways to get involved if you can. Donate to relevant charities, volunteer in your community, spread the word on social media, attend local events, and wear awareness-associated ribbons or other visible symbols of awareness for these important causes.

Together, we can make a positive change in the lives of those affected by these important awareness days, extend best practices for prevention when needed and even provide support for someone that may be suffering from a related condition or knows someone that is or has.
