Phase One Continues!

seniors travelingGood news! Florida is on a steady path to economic recovery ever since Governor DeSantis made the decision to reopen the state. Over the past few weeks, essential and nonessential businesses have resumed operations. Gyms, salons, and even theme parks are allowing guests to enter their doors. Seniors, this is excellent news! The sooner we reopen the state, the faster our economy will recover. As of May 26th, SeaWorld and Disney World received approval to resume operations from the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force. SeaWorld is set to open its parks on June 11th. Disney World will be opening two parks on July 11th, starting with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Having our theme parks open will help bring some much-needed magic back to our state. Though there is uncertainty about how these new orders will impact our citizens’ safety and health, this is terrific news. By implementing proper social distancing requirements, cleanliness rules, and limited capacity, we can keep everyone safe, stop the spread of the coronavirus and welcome back guests! Tourism is Florida’s most significant source of income, with more than $91.3 billion of revenue coming in from out of state visitors each year! By allowing visitors in, we can promote our many businesses and help our state thrive. Seniors continue practicing excellent hygiene, wearing masks, and social distancing but support the reopening of our nation. Sunny days are ahead of us. We will get through this together.
