coronavirusAs of March 29, 2020, Florida’s total number of cases reached 4,246 with 56 confirmed deaths. The government has implemented a variety of orders over the past two weeks to keep residents safe and reduce the density of crowds.
When it comes to COVID-19, there is different information circulating about symptoms. The CDC states that reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death, meaning each person’s case is different. The most reported symptoms are fever, cough and shortness of breath, which can appear 2-14 days after exposure.
If you feel sick, The Florida Department of Health has opened a COVID-19 Call Center at 1-866-779-6121. Agents will answer questions around the clock. Questions may also be emailed to covid-19@flhealth.gov. Email responses will be sent during call center hours.
