Gods Presence

Walking in the Power of God

What would happen if you truly believed God wants the best for you—not someday in heaven, but right now? Too many believers settle for a life far below what God intended. We’ve been told miracles and healing are rare and that supernatural power is of the devil. But that’s a lie. God wants you well. God wants His power to flow through your life. And once you really understand this, it will change your life—your health, your joy, your relationships, your whole walk with God.

Eternal Life Begins Now

Many people think salvation is just about forgiveness and going to heaven. And yes, that is an awesome part of it—but it’s only one part. Eternal life is more than endless years in eternity; it’s knowing God intimately right now, today.

John 17:3 says, “This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” Eternal life is relationship. It’s intimacy. It’s walking with God, hearing Him, speaking with Him, seeing His power manifest through you.

If all you do is pray for forgiveness, then you’re missing the real purpose of salvation. God didn’t just want to remove a barrier of sin so we could avoid hell. He wanted a relationship with you. And part of that relationship is seeing His life flow through you in supernatural ways—healing, deliverance, restoration, miracles, and more.

The Authority You Already Have

Matthew 10:1 says that Jesus “gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.” Then He told them in verse 8, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”

Healing isn’t up to God alone—you already carry His power. I think most Christians aren’t seeing miracles today because they either don’t believe or don’t understand what’s already been provided in Christ.

Stop Settling for a Substandard Life

The New Testament church saw miracles daily. People would break through roofs to get someone to Jesus because His power was evident. Today, we have padded pews, air conditioning, and all sorts of comforts—but people aren’t coming because there is no manifestation of God’s power.

Jesus said in John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” The works of Jesus are meant to be done by us today—not just in heaven, not just in some idealized version of the church, but here on earth.

But I’d estimate that the majority of Christians don’t even believe in the miraculous today—simply because it’s convenient not to. They don’t have to pray, they don’t have to study the Word, and they can live just as carnally as someone who doesn’t know the Lord. If they say God doesn’t do miracles, then when someone gets sick or struggles, they can just let it happen—because their doctrine says that it’s God’s will. That’s a cop-out. It’s a chicken way to live.

We’ve been given everything—healing, provision, victory over sin, peace that passes understanding. To act like it’s not real, or to live as if it’s not available, is to deny the very power of God.

These truths are foundational, but I’ve only touched the surface here. In my full teaching, The Faith Collective, I break down these and other truths so you can understand who you are in Christ and what He’s already placed inside you.
